Hi! I’m Toni!
I’m a CBI certified birth doula supporting growing families through pregnancy, birth and postpartum. It’s my passion to help parents navigate this precious and exciting time in their lives, and to help moms have an informed and empowered birth.
What is a doula?
A doula is a non-medical support person who walks alongside families during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Doulas provide informational, physical and emotional support through services like text and email coaching, prenatal sessions, labor and birth care and postpartum visits.
Informational
The amount of information for pregnancy and birth can be overwhelming. As your doula, I offer educational support with evidence-based information and resources. Doula packages include 24/7 text and email support to answer all of your questions.
Physical
During labor, hands-on care in one of the most well known parts of doula work. Physical support helps keep you as comfortable as possible throughout labor. Hands-on care includes light touch massage, counter pressure, positioning and relaxation techniques to help labor progress and help you stay calm and confident.
Emotional
Pregnancy and birth is a wild ride; having someone there with you every step of the way to listen and help care for your emotional needs is invaluable. My job is to offer reassurance and encouragement, help you and your partner work through any fears prior to birth and help you process the birth once your little one has arrived.
